Lead
Lead paint and lead dust, assessed, contained, removed. Lead does its damage quietly, in flakes and dust. Pre-1970s paint systems, heritage buildings and industrial structures all carry it, and it demands the same discipline as asbestos: assess, contain, remove, verify.

How this work is done properly
Lead paint in older buildings, and lead dust in ceiling spaces and industrial settings, are regulated hazards. Removal is carried out to Australian Standard guidance such as AS 4361, with containment, negative air where required, sealed waste handling and surface clearance testing.
From heritage terraces under full containment wrap to operating factories, we plan lead work around the building and the people who use it, and we hand back surfaces that test clean.
