Asbestos Removal

How this work is done properly
Under the NSW Work Health and Safety Regulation, friable asbestos removal requires a Class A licence and non-friable (bonded) removal above threshold quantities requires a Class B licence. Removal work must be notified to SafeWork NSW, carried out to an asbestos removal control plan, and followed by clearance inspection before an area is reoccupied.
We manage the full chain: sampling and laboratory identification, surveys and registers, Class A and Class B removal, asbestos-contaminated soil, air monitoring, clearance and tracked disposal. Principal contractors, schools, homeowners and insurers deal with one accountable team rather than four subcontractors.

Targeted sampling of suspect materials by trained technicians, sealed chain-of-custody handling, and analysis by a NATA-accredited laboratory. Results delivered as a clear report that states what was found, where, and what it means for your project.
Surveys & Registers
Management surveys and refurbishment / demolition surveys
Asbestos management surveys for buildings in use, and intrusive refurbishment or demolition surveys before work begins. Findings compiled into the asbestos register that the WHS Regulation requires workplaces built before 2004 to hold and maintain.
Class B — Bonded Removal
Non-friable removal: sheeting, vinyl, roofing, fences
Removal of bonded asbestos-containing materials such as fibre-cement sheeting, vinyl floor tiles, roofing and fencing, under Class B licensed conditions: controlled work zones, wet methods, full encapsulated waste handling and compliant disposal.
The highest-risk category of asbestos work: friable materials removed under negative-pressure enclosures with decontamination units, air monitoring by a licensed asbestos assessor, and staged clearance before containment comes down.
Asbestos in Soil
Contaminated soil assessment, remediation and validation
Assessment, controlled excavation and removal of asbestos-contaminated soil, from residential fill to school grounds and development sites, with EPA waste classification, tracked disposal and validation support so the land is proven clean for its intended use.
Air Monitoring & Clearance
Licensed assessor monitoring and clearance inspections
Independent air monitoring during removal and visual clearance inspection afterward, with clearance certificates issued before an area is reoccupied. For friable work, this is performed by a licensed asbestos assessor as the Regulation requires.
